Personal Profile Description My attitude towards life could be succinctly described by saying that I "work to live, not live to work". I enjoy my job as a software engineer but it isn't my life. When I'm out of work, I regularly socialise and while I enjoy live music, theatre, live comedy and entertaining friends at home I also enjoy a quiet drink (of orange juice, in my case!) in my local pub.
I'm quite politically aware and make a point of knowing what's happening in the world around me since the first step to changing the world is knowing how it works.
Although I was brought up as a Hindu, I am now an agnostic. However, I respect and understand those who do believe in a god and I very much think the world and universe around us are wonderful and beautiful things and have a great appreciation of them and the steps that we, as a species, can take to understand them.
